I don't believe in this. I've seen a girl giving me mixed signals. Sometimes she'll just stare and sometimes ignore me completely or turn around on seeing me coming towards her. Any ideas?

Sometimes, I feel like my crush is way better than me. He athletic, smart, good looking, and nice. The only reason he hasn't had a girlfriend is because he is LDS (mormon) and he isn't allowed to date until next year. Plus, many girls in high school these days have way lower standards than him. If everyone had his standards, girls would be lining up from the other side of the country. I am also one of the smartest people in our grade. He thinks I'm artistic, amazing at the sport I play, and nice. He asks me to hang out too. But I feel like he is so much better than me. I don't think I'm ugly, but you wouldn't say I'm particularly attractive. So, I sometimes give him clues I like him, while other times, I avoid him. Plus, my friend said I only had a 25% chance with him. So maybe she does think you're better than her, but also because her friends said something that made her feel less than you. Mixed signals usually mean a good signal to me.
