I'm quiet because I'm afraid of talking to other people. I don't like embarrassing myself. So, I stay quiet. Plus, I'm very awkward and I have the social skills of a 3 year old. Heck, 3 year olds are more social than me.
I get bitter and jealous of others that can just start a conversation with anyone and charm them instantly. I can't so that, I'm just so boring and average. I have nothing special about me, except that i can draw, but that's it. I'm not some super interesting mystery girl with a dark past, I'm an insecure, sad, lonely teenager that's afraid of people.

That's just me. Quiet. A lot of people are uncomfortable by it, and too much stigmatism. They think your antisocial and that is far from the truth. Some grow fearful of you because they don't know anything about you, but meanwhile, they don't want to know everything about you because there may be other things about you, they won't like. As an Introvert, I love the silence and I can enjoy that silence by myself or with the people I love and enjoys my company. I just say it like this, if you don't like me, stay in your corner and I will stay in mine.

Cats are the most intellectually superior creatures on Earth. They are particularly adept at training human beings to do their bidding, and spend 18 hours a day on average sleeping. What they are really doing is coming up with ways to take over the Earth while still retaining humans to make that yummy cat food for them & clean their toilets. If cats had opposable thumbs, they, not us, would be the dominant force on this planet.

Violent past, abused, restrictive parents, criticized, fustrated, neglected?
I think some people hate messing with them because you don't know nothing about them and that's and issue (pretty much like going into a forest or mined ground)

Shy people naturally get taken advantage of in almost all social interaction. Introversion is fine and I have friends who are introverted. Shy and introverted aren't to be synonymously compared by any means. Maybe you're just introverted or this is your response to having an off day?

I don't mind them, I tend to be pretty quiet till I get comfortable and trust someone.  As long as they're able to hold a conversation, they're good.

It depends. I'm a quiet person myself. If i saw that person talks to some popular kids and when i tried talking to that person and she or he doesn't shows interest I'm out. And if i smiled at that person and he or she doesn't smile back I'm not going to invest.

ironically I'm actually pretty quiet in person, unless I'm around friends or family. even then I'm still kind of quiet but, if I'm really into a convo, then I probably won't stop talking lol
