Girls, Why do smart girls like jocks?

There are some very intelligent girls at my school that are also attractive, but instead of starting relationships with guys of similar intellectual capacity, they choose to love these disrespectful moronic jocks who only care about sports and practical jokes. They care nothing for school, yet the girls at the top of the class are always dating them and ignoring the smart guys. Is there a reason for this?

So wait you know every personality of every jock type of guy? I find some guys make these sort of assumptions when girls dont want to date them. Unless you are dating the guy, you cannot just assume he is this way or that way. Are you there when they are together? Are you present in their conversations? Can you tell with 100% certainty how he treats her when you are not there? That is literally just basing your opinion of stereotypes and assumptions. And this is coming from a girl who has not dated a jock before. Making assumptions doesn't make you more intelligent.

I know the personality of several specific guys, and I'm wondering how these relationships even start. I see how they behave, I'm not assuming. When I say "jock" I don't mean every guy in the jock stereotype. Every guy I'm actually referring to can easily be called a jock.

Girls like this really aren't that intelligent. They're just school smart and that doesn't equate to emotional intelligence or even common sense at times sadly :(
