Why am I dreaming of my crush every night this week?

Lately for the past 3 or 4 nights in a row I've been dreaming of my formal crush that I REALLY like, I can't get him out of my head, but since it's summer and I'm out with my friends I don't think of him as much as I used to in school.

In every dream I have of him we're dating, even the typical scary dreams such as (falling,flying,being nude in front of others in a dream) doesn't scare me because my crush is always by me so I have no fear in dreams.

Why am I suddenly dreaming of him every night?
