How do you know if a shop girl likes you?

I'm not going to say much I just want to know what some of you girls say.

I've done MANY years as a cashier at a store, and personally, I don't really find myself liking any of the guys, hot or not, that I ring through my till... It's just hard to really get to know anyone when you're pushing through line ups and everything becomes so robotic.

But I can see why it may seem like they may be flirting with you. Take me for an example, I am usually a pretty quiet girl, mistaken for snob and I do my job and work hard. But being a cashier, I'm forced to be friendly and open to everyone and anyone I see at the till, and those people who are more receptive, I am also more willing to interact with... etc if you catch my drift.

Hmm.. if I were to really like the guy though, I'd probably try to make more conversation with him, and more eye contact (I just usually look at their hands, haha, for their cards and cash and whatnot), more smiling, and yeah, just more.. friendly. But again, you never know right, unless you spend more time with them and just get to know who they really are.

Well in my opinion it depends on the type of girl, and if you personally know her or not. If it was just someone you don't know at all, it's a little harder to tell.

Speaking from my perspective when I don't know a guy I won't be as loud or flirty with him. I am more of a shy person, and like to look at things from the distance. If I was working at a till I would still do my job, and ask if the need help with anything, if they found everything all right, etc. After they left, or before I would help them, you would most likely see me talking to a co-worker quietly, and subtly showing her who I am talking about.

Then there are some girls that are just flirtacious. They will feel comfortably to talk to anyone. In the end, to be honest, it's easier to tell if a girl has an interest in you is if you get to know them personally.

I don't know her personaly but I've started getting into little chat with her recently, only like howve you been and what you been up to (and what I've said in the question)

...anyways, look out for signs as far as her going out of her way to get you to look at her or notice her...ex) playing with her hair, always trying to be the center of attention when around you, being funny, trying to find out what you're up to this weekend or what you like to do in general, she takes an interest in you and asks personal questions, what you like to do, your favorite stuff etc...

dont jump the gun, go with the flow, ask her to do something fun sometime...putt putt golf? go karts? whatever...

Oh alright, well good luck...also look for her ALWAYS trying to look you in the eyes and always wanting to talk...but then again all girls are different, you can usually tell when a girl lieks you just by the things she does...good luck, one of her friends could also approach you and say hey my friend thinks you're cute...who knows, hopefully it happens for ya!

Thanks, its just at first she used to smile at him but I thought you know she was just being polite and you know being a good member of staff, then after awhile she said hi to me and after awhile we started chatting, small conversations when I go to the till or when I'm on one of those self service machines, like how are you, what you been up to, sometimes hen I haven't been in for awhile she says not see you in awhile. she's really nice and sweet.
