What do you think about girls who watch anime?

I love to watch anime, and I don't think any of my girl friends like to watch it. Sometimes it's really weird being the only girl in the group who likes Japanese animation.

It's way easier to find boys who watch anime, maybe one of the reasons why most of my friends are boys. I can talk to them about animes like Boruto, AoT, DBS and etc, while all the girls will be talking about 13 Reasons Why.

What do you think about girls who watch anime?

I personally watch a lot of anime, but I keep it very low key. I talk about it only with one friend, but I tend to avoid it because I watch disturbing anime mostly, so nobody really knows it and on top of it, it's just weird to discuss. For example a 7 year old girl who falls in love with her new teacher (23 y/o) and wants to have sex with him. It's also a problem because a lot of people in my school make fun of it and call it "hentai", not even wanting to acknowledge it.

I still love anime and i'm 24. You're at a stupid age where your peers judge you for every little thing (I hate high school). It's very possible that there are more girls in your environment that watch anime, but that they're too shy to admit it.

You need to make more friends who welcome anime!!! I got my friend into anime not as much as I am but anyways express yourself
I watch pretty much about everything but 13 reason wasn't the greatest but it was decent though

I watch it. But I do think there's a stigma around it, because there's obviously the people that dress up daily as a character, people that watch anime porn or animes where boobs are literally the only subject.. etc.

its upto on girls and on boys wgat they like and this is variablity if everybody starting thinking same way and doing same thing this place will be looks like mirror... only things people should do understand and respect others feeling and try to have fun with them

Well, I'm very much into anime and at the moment it's part of my job, so I would think it's awesome that she's also interested in it :)

I do know quite a lot of girls who like anime, but most of them seem to hide it, which is a little sad in my opinion.

As a fun fact, most people creating anime and games in the style of anime are actually girls! ^^

I am the only girl among my friends who watches anime. I am so much into it that I can not imagine my life without it. Even my boyfriend makes fun of it saying 'Why do you love those cartoons?'
