Why do girls find the need to strut?

So my X and me broke up. Pretty obvious. I'm not here to talk to talk about that though. What I am here to discuss or even ask is why do girls find the need to go around strutting their stuff after a relationship. What I mean by that is basically talk to every single guy and flirt and almost have control of them. O.K. so maybe not all girls do it but I'm guessing the majority do.

My X has been going around and racking up guys like it's a job. She talks to say maybe 8 guys at the same time, showing interest in every single one. There is a front runner but the others don't believe that. She flirts with them, hangs out with them, etc. You catch my drift.

Do girls feel empowered by the thought that they have all the control over the guys. I mean I have to guess that she must love the attention. But how much is too far that when another girl walks in the room and gets more attention than you start acting flirty and doing everything in your power to get that attention back.

Is it because she is a whore? Maybe I would see things more clearly if I just saw it from a different perspective. Thanks.

Extra Info: Because of this recent behavior I have decided to not even deal with my X. I feel like to degrade yourself. To stoop down to a level that is so low, it is not even worth dealing with that person.

this is her way of trying to attempt to get you back. she is probably trying to show that she can get any guy that she wants and that you are missing out . but that's wrong she should try to be nice to you and maybe understand why you broke up with her or why she broke up with you . but she is just simply doing this because it is her way of getting back at you she doesn't want to look like a whore she just is trying to show you that she can have ne-one or just any random guy . obviously its not working lol ( she shouldn't do this and you should tell her that )good luck I hope this helps

I guess I am curious to see who broke up with whom. It is her way of coping with the breakup. We (guys and girls) all do different things. Plus if you broke up with her it is a way to get back at you. Sooner or later she will have to deal with what she is going though. This way is just like a band aid (for lack of better terms) until she is done being upset.

She broke up with me actually. I mean yeah I accept the fact that we are over. That she has moved on. But to be so low and doing what she is doing to me is hilarious. But I guess you are right, it is temporary.

All girls aren't that way, and I think age and maturity level has a lot to do with it.Women in general tend to be very caddy and bitchy by nature, making it impossible for some girl to control her need to strut her stuff and flirt.I think it's all about control, both men and women have behaviors that need to be tamed.some can.some learn to with time.if you can't deal with it.don't.you have that right.

Its a silly way to get over the break up and feel better about yourself. We may think about it this way: well he doesn't want me there are other guys that too. He doesn't know what he lost! I'm going to have fun and get over him!

Sometimes it may work because you guys get offended when we move on right? But overall it is silly and I'm afraid I'm in that same mindstate - just one guy so far though who knows him argh. Girls!
