Is it true that the more nervous a girl is around guy, the more she likes him?

I'm just curious. There's this girl who seems to act differently around me compared to other people. When I talk to her or say hi to her she acts surprised and a bit intimidated. The tone and pitch of her voice changes and it's a lot softer and reserved. She laughs at even the lamest jokes I make and somethings I didn't intend to be funny. If we're alone or there's not many people she gets VERY nervous and is clumsy .eg. Drops stuff, can't look me in the eyes, voice cracks, deep breathing.etc. So do girls get nervous around guys they like or am I just freaking her out ?

I'd try to make her feel VERY comffortable... maybe share some stories about how you have felt embarassed in certain "dating " situations... to make her feel at ease like she's not the only one who has ever been there. You know what I mean? Don't make an issue of her nerves. That will ONLY make it worse... Be kind - good listener - keep telling your lame jokes if she likes them... and enjoy it. well sure liking someone changes everything. there's all kinds of things youd like to say but its hard to step out on that limb when you don't know if the feelings are reciprocated. maybe not all girls go as far as telling the guy she likes him but she thinks she gives hints (tho guys never catch on lol) so she feels nervous. and even feels nervous she might say something that unintentionally makes him think she doesn't like him.

That's cute. Quite frankly you are arousing all sorts of passions in her, and the only place for them to go is nervous energy. When you mature and 'fill out', this sort of thing may not happen so much, it would be more managable and normalized. So sure, she likes you plenty... but that doesn't mean you have to neccessarily do anything. Depends how you gauge the situation of course. :)
