What does it mean if a guy follows your eyes when you stop looking at him?

there was this guy we both look at each other sometimes looking away or holding the eye contact. This time we were looking at each other we were walking like on the treadmill sort of opposite both look into each other eyes felt long.. The I turned my head quickly to look at something then looked back at him he had turned his head to follow my eyes and was looking where I looked. Then we were looking again he started rubbing his face while looking then I think he smiled at me but I wasn't sure so didn't smile back. And we never talk or know each other.

What does all this mean? I don't know what age he is I'm 17 he looks maybe young but 18-20ish I heard him talk his voice isn't that deep

Hes trying to figure out if you like him or not because it sounds like he's interested in you. He's weighing up his options to move in and start friendly chit chat. He sounds like a cautious person with you anyway so its almost like he needs guaranteed confirmation your interested *which would be the indication of a smile*

I asked a similar question last night. I met a close guy friend for the first time yesterday. When we were sitting on the couch, I noticed that he would look at me briefly, then continue his glance behind him toward the window as if he were trying to cover up the fact he was looking at me. The comment I got was, "It means he thinks you're attractive and he likes you."
