Do some girls get nervous around guys they're attracted to?

Have you been on this site for very long? Because the answer is totally a solid yes. I mean really I swear that maybe half the questions (hyperbole) that girls post are all about "help, I'm shy?" or "how do I get him to ask me out?" or " how do make him like me?" or things of a similar nature. A lot of the ones where a girl is trying to get a guy to come to her usually comes from her being self conscious, shy, nervous, or afraid. In short, they're too shy to ask. There have also been a lot of questions about how to deal with shyness, and a lot of questions asking if guys like shy girls. Yep.

So yeah, there quite a few girls that get nervous around the guys they're attracted to.

This is exactly the same in reverse also. I'm sure it causes a lot of people to miss out on some great dates/bf's/gf's.

Oh yes...definitely!

In fact, I'm even MORE shy around a guy who seems to be interested in me even if I'm secretly attracted to HIM! I've been hurt in the past though, so this may have something to do with it. Unless the guy makes it VERY clear to me that he's interested in me, I tend to be very reserved...friendly, but just reserved or shy. lol.

But when I'm around guys that are strictly my FRIENDS, I'm not shy at all!

Sure we do! It's happens to me all the time.

When I'm next to a certain guy my heart beats faster and I don't know what to say. Sometimes I say things I didn't wanted to say (I feel regret later) lol!

So yes I get really nervous when I'm next to him.

Sometimes it happens to guys also but becauseguys are good at hiding emotion they manage it but there eyes say it all

Most girls get more nervous around a guy they like and can't be themselves until they realize that's the person the guys wants to see but if its a friends first then you see attraction its kinda easier!

Indeed. It's a lot easier to date somebody I already get along with as a friend, rather than just some girl that I thought was pretty.

100% true...u would see me nervous and even worse I would ignore him, dnt talk 2 him and not look at him at all...stupid...in the present time I kinda lost one guy who I like just because of my nervousness :(
