Why is she speaking and acting differently around me all of a sudden?

I friends with a shy girl and Im confused by her actions around me. When we first started talking she was speaking in a comfortable dynamic level, not too loud and not too soft either. We would talke about things that went on in our lives. But then recently, I have noticed changes. She is starting to speak really quietly and is almost unaudible around me, though it looks like she wants to talk and listen to what I have to say. Whenever I have to leave, she gives me a genuine wave of goodbye and smiles at me. When we first started hanging out, she always looked at me like anyone would look at a friend. But now, she doesn't really look at me anymore and speaks really quietly. I can tell that she does want to hang out with me but Im not understanding why she suddenly became quiet around me.

Perhaps she likes you? I got super quiet around my crush suddenly but then again not all girls are the same.
If you like her or anything, perhaps be even more of a gentleman than normal and see where it goes. Watch if she plays with her hair, laughs at your jokes, ask how she is or about the family.

she isn't as quiet around her friends as she is around me though. We went to a social event together and she was fine talking to her friends but then when she talks to me her pitch drops and her voice becomes almost unaudible. This is why I am confused.

Maybe she found out something about you, that she doesn't like...

But then wouldn't that mean that she won't want to hang out with me and talk to me? She seems to enjoy talking to me
