Girl hasn't texted me back in for a day?

hi i like this girl in grade 10 and i am in grade 12.
two days ago i messaged this girl "Wassup her name", 5 mins later she messaged back "Heyyyy my name :)". so i decided to ask her "how's your weekend" in the next morning since it was already 12 am when i saw her reply. however, she hasn't answered my text, "how's your weekend" for a day already. i am really confused since she answered my first text within 5 mins. Do you guys think she is trying to ignore me or doesn't know what to say? i will see her in school tomorrow again. i am afraid she will look at me differently in the future

If she was interested she would make time for you. Its as simple as that bro. Don't ever reply with why are you ignoring me or say anything similar to that in person or spam her. It comes off as needy. Intact a good trick to use is ignore her. Don't even talk to her. If she's interested she will come investigate what's going on with you. If not you didn't lose anything.

Now if you hangout daily I would slowly distance myself and see if she notices and comments on it.

Infact* the only problem with this is if she is too shy and likes you it will backfire as you appear uninterested

i am not sure. she is a new girl to my school. school has been a month and i recently started to talk to her. i am friend with her closest friend in gr 10. she told me that she likes someone else already but not in my school. but then last week when she saw me in the hallway, she came up and said wassup to me. last week after pe class, she also asked me if i was ok because i got injured. do you think she is just trying to be nice and friendly?
