Girls, Why is it wrong for a boy to like balloons? or why is it considered funny for girls popping a guy's bunch of balloons? Any similar experiences?

I got a bunch of colourful bright and really big balloons from a party the other day.

I was happy, but my girlfriend looked embarrassed as we were going with her friends. She asked me to pop them but I thought they looked cool and fun so I didn't want to. After that a friend of hers started to tease them with her cigarette, and my girlfriend lit another one up. Finally she popped one of them by chance and the balloons fell off the ground, so her friends stomped on them or popped them with the cigarette fastly. Everyone had a lot of fun, but me ;(

Damn, your girl sound insecure and her friends sucks. Sounds like sge was self aware because of them and bought into their games, be wary of her. Baloons are awesome regardless of gender.

Source: me and some friends rented a helium tank for a party to get baloons that fly back up to the ceiling if someone wanted to mess with them + the voice is funny. 50/50 boys/girls in the ages 20-30, saw quite a bit of people regardless of gender taking one or two with them as they left, lol.

That's really shitty, there's nothing wrong with deriving joy from something so harmless. Unless you were in a clown costume I don't know why it would be bad for you to have a bunch of balloons
