Today my boyfriend got these huge balloons with his Christmas presents. He took them away from me just because I wanted to have fun popping them. He's already 14 and I don't know why he wants to keep them. Moreover, some of my friends are coming tomorrow and it's going to be embarrasing when they find out my boyfriend plays with balloons. Probably one of my friends will pop them anyways, as she loves doing that, and in that case situation can be more embarrasing if he gets mad. What's the best way for me to get rid of those stupid balloons?
How should I deal with my boyfriend having balloons all around the room?
The only person who needs to grow up here is you. Leave his things alone. He got those balloons along with his presents, hence he has the right to do whatever he pleases to do with those balloons. If he keeps them, let him be. It's his property in the first place.

Okay it's his private property and that's sacred in our capitalist world... But they're just a bunch of silly balloons lol. I can leave them alone, but what about my friends? It's just going to get worse...
Finally, his mom told me she's glad with me popping them. She even got me a sharp object. As they're just decorations I suppose they're actually her property, right?
Leave his things alone, if you find his gift embarrassing feel free to remove yourself instead of ruining what someone thoughtfully gave him that he’s enjoying

I don't want to destroy his things... But he's a grown up boy and they're just balloons. The most common joke in the world is popping someone's balloon. Anyways, my friend is going to pop them all if I know her well... And it could be worse for him :/

If he doesn’t like some of the clothes you wear because they make you look childish he can burn it right? No, because those things are YOUR choice and part of what makes you, you.

It's not that stupid if I change my mind because of your answers. But some of you look a bit aggressive, so it's more difficult for me changing my mind that way...
You find as an adult you stop caring about tiny things like that. Besides, balloons are fun! I'm 20 and there's no reason to be embarrassed. A balloon in the end, is just a balloon.

Many grown up people likes balloons and wouldn't trash them. Also many kids would pop them. Destroying balloons doesn't make you grown up. That said, I dare you to pop them all to avenge potatoisme who got 2 dislikes trying to help you :P
