I had have an ex 2.5 times my weight that didn't believe he could lay his dead body weight on me and have me still be able to breath.
It was actually a really big fear of his in general. That he'd crush a girl. He wasn't obese he was just strong and thick.
I made him flop on top of me with all his weight for a minute 60 seconds to show I could breath so he wouldn't be afraid he would crush me.
He was an engineer and noted I do yoga and have intense core strength so most women that didn't he would suffocate.
TBH with dead body weight of over 250 lbs on me I did need my abs to breath. His pecks were closer to my neck than mine and I had to breath from my diaphragm.
this is actually a common occurance for me. it's not a big deal I mean we're friends and it isn't like it's a sexual advance he's literally just sitting down. I sit on my friends lap when there are no more seats so it would be unfair to not let them do the same to me.

literally a few days ago at lunch. my friend was a few minutes late to the Pavillion so there were no more seats and he sat on my lap and nothing else happened. he just sat there and ate his salad like he would had he not been there. yes, some are. not everyone, but the guys always respect that.

not everyone is comfortable with things like that, and it's okay. some, not all but some, guys think that girls should depend on them for things rather than the other way around. another reason may be size. I'm nearly 6 feet tall and have an athletic body, so I'm pretty strong and it doesn't really bother me, but if it's a 6 foot 5 guy sitting on a 5 foot 3 girl then there will be some obvious discomfort for her.
No I don’t mind I’ve had it happen to many times before my friends and I really weird and when there’s not enough room we usually sit or lay on each other’s laps and be as weird as possible about it

Lol like they act stupid about it. They’ll start fake moaning or they’ll talk about the persons lap having a dick even if they’re a girl. At lunchtime in school if there weren’t enough seats at the table they’d sit in my lap. Or at my friends Christmas party my friend sat on my lap. They’d fake moan if we were talking about sex but besides that we’d just be stupid and make jokes. Girls and guys would sit on my lap, i did the same to them too though. It wasn’t. A sexual thing so it didn’t bother us. No one specifically would choose whose laps. But if someone was in a couple, like my friend Wade and his girlfriend Erin, they’d sit on each other’s Laps. No other girls would sit on Wade but guys wouldand girls would sit on Erin’s lap. At the Christmas party it was me sitting on my friends, Lily, Ashley, James, Luke. Some other girls would sit on my lap too tho. If i wasn’t texting or if we weren’t using our hands we’d wrap them around their waist. Any of the guy friends would. James wouldn’t since he’s older than us and bigger. Out of the guys it was mostly wade, and some others i didn’t mention. The guys would sit on each other’s Laos too acting gay. Guys would pretend to sit on Erin to piss off wade lol I’d wrap my arms around the guys too yea. It was a nice comforting thing. Definitely not, this is a causal occurrence between my friends and I. We often run out of seats and have to squish together, and as far as i'm aware none of us mind or even think about it.
If we are talking about a close guy friend of mine, they'll probably just plop themselves down without even thinking twice about it. I don't personally have trouble with their weight unless its for an extensive time but it maybe because I am mostly muscle. It doesn't feel any different from girl friends except maybe I can't see over his shoulder :)

First girl, a girl can handle everything. Only nice friends can sit. Because it wouldn't hurt. I'd let him sit on me. But you know there are two types of "sitting on lap". One is where you sit with all your body weight. Two is when you sit just enough so you get comfy but don't out in your entire weight in the person's lap. If there's no seat he can sit on my lap in the way he just leans.
I always let my close girl friends sit on my lap when there's no seat. I let my sisters or friends sit on my lap. Sitting on lap is not that huge big deal

I wouldn't offer in such a situation but if he did ask to sit on me or just sat on me without saying anything I wouldn't object. And nope the weight doesn't feel like he's crushing you even if he weighs more that you... I'm guessing unless a guy is really overweight or you're really tiny. Um well he sat on my lap because there was no where else to sit, there is nothing wrong with that, he's like a little brother to me, there's nothing wrong with his weight, yes I can handle it, it's just a lap seat nothing else. Well the thing is... if a dude sits on your lap, you’ll probably feel his stuff, and if it close to them and we make dick jokes 24/7 i probably wouldn’t care. Me and my friends are pretty close so we can sit in each other’s lap if we feel like it. Sometimes there just aren’t enough seats for everyone so why not sit in a friends lap? I’m pretty huge myself so it’s usually no problem for me, they don’t have to ask either, if I see that there are no seats then I’m already prepared and they know it too😊

I don’t mind because I’m a really physical person. I do that kind of thing with them all the time. I would tell them they could sit on my lap if they wanted, and I wouldn’t care if they didn’t ask. I probably couldn’t handle their weight, but I’d pretend to, and it wouldn’t be different if it was a girl.
It’s fine. I’m happy to help. I show a lot of my affection through hugs. I cuddle with almost all of my friends regardless of their gender. I would ask them if they wanted to if they didn’t have a seat. I just don’t say anything about how their weight is crushing me, and they don’t really notice. If they’re big, I’d let them sit on my lap for a few minutes because anything more would probably hurt. If it didn’t bother me, I’d let them sit on my lap until they wanted to get up.
