Yeah i've offered my lap before and like i'll rest my face on their back and hug them loosely.
They could and it is a little different tbh because girls are usually more comfortable with sitting in a lap while guys will just joke about it especially if its a girls lap and especially if the girl is smaller than them.
I didn't want to sit in his because i wanted to play with his hair during it and i did offer if he wanted me to sit on his and he was like no its fine.

Oh yeah I've had guy friends sit on my lap before.
I've mentioned my one friend in several other posts (the one with the below average penis), he does this all the time. Mainly when he's "mad" at his girlfriend and needs fake emotional support. Haha

There's also another guy friend I have that does this, but he's literally a foot taller than me and twice my weight, so he does it just because he enjoys hearing me go "Oof!" Haha

It is different with a girlfriend, simply cause we probably would have a closer, more physical relationship and society wouldn’t look on it differently. No, my female friends don't sit on my lap often. It's weird because I never see most females sitting in other female laps. It's unusual to see that happen especially in public since I don't see other females sitting in other female laps. I've never had anyone ask to sit on my lap. Never offered for anyone to sit in my lap. Never had anyone sit in my lap without asking. The only situation I can think of that would allow someone to sit on my lap is if there were no chairs and someone needed to sit somewhere, but I have never had a female friend nor a male friend ask, offer , or forcefully sit on my lap.

I mean my friends don't really have a problem with standing up in most places, and if they sit on my lap it's for fun. If my guy friend does need a seat, I will let him take the seat and I will sit on his lap. And if a guy does sit on my lap he does not have to ask me. Not entirely sure why you are delving so deep into this but I'll humour you. Yes I would offer my lap first , no I wouldn't wrap my arms around him that seems like more of a romantic thing. Yeah if he's a close friend he wouldn't have to ask me , it would be weird if he did ask. Nope same for a close girl friend.
Once we were at a house party and all the seats were taken so I offered a guy friend my lap and he sat down then decided it would be less awkward if I sat on his lap (it was more awkward that way ) . Usually if there isn't a seat for a guy friend or if my friend group is playing around. The sitting on the lap thing always has to be in a group setting though not alone in some dark room 😂.

None of my friends sit on any of each others laps. We have never done it, never will. We don't hug or aren't super touchy. We don't like that stuff. At least for me, I did it when i was younger like when I was a teenager. But I stopped once I got older. I would be too embarrassed to have a guy friend or any guy, for that matter, to sit on my lap.
