He's staring when I wasn't looking, but doesn't seem like he's interested?

i caught this guy staring at me in a few occasions, where he immediately look away when I look at him. but when was I near him, I can see he's trying hard not to look at me, as if he's not interested. but I can see him staring or looking from corner of my eyes when I wasn't looking. why he did this? because he thinks I am eying on him as well? he never smile to me or say hi.

Im extremely shy around women and this is exactly how I act when I see a girl I'm attracted to. Ill only look at her when she is not looking, and if she catches me, ill look away in embarassment and not dare look at her again. If I'm close to her, ill pretty much deliberately avoid looking at her, mostly because I'm embarassed or worried ill creep her out. I don't smile or make good eye contact because I do not want to creep the woman out.

I guess that's one of the reasons I've been single my whole life. I wish women could see past that and try and talk to me instead of seeing me as a grumpy stuck-up person that doesn't want to be bothered. I can't really blame them though, I wouldn't want to talk to someone like that either...

You should try and just say hi to him - that would really make him happy

Awww don't say so, maybe what other woman think on you is almost the same like what I am thinking on this guy, I am afraid if I smile at him and he will just turn around, that would be pretty embarrassing for me :( I just hope he will stare at me and give enough time for to smile back lol :D

If you smile and he looks away, don't feel bad. There have been women who have smiled at me, and I looked away because I was scared. One of the most beautiful girls I've ever seen was in a class of mine, and would make eye contact with me often. then one day she smiled and I looked away terrified. She never looked at me again and ill never forget that. If I wasn't such a dumbass I would have smiled back or at least spoken with her...

I know because there is this girl who does samething to me ,she is shy and nervous but she is really good at hiding it ;), or when you see him again just say hi and just talk some random thing and just use it to introduce yourself and deal is done :)
