What to say when a girl asks what your intentions are?

If a girl says she's confused because she doesn't know what your intentions are or asks what your intentions are, what's the best way to follow it up?

Here's my example.. I've been talking to this girl and really getting to know her, but out of the blue I'm just told, "I don't even know what your intentions are". She's VERY cautious, and not really used to people wanting to get to know her or care so I suppose that's why it was said.

If you're unsure where it's going. Tell her that. If you like her but are nervous. Tell her that. Be honest. Reflect on your own intentions and tell her the truth.
