There is also the female equivalent of a fuckboy, it's called a slut. Some men do tend to go after that type of women. So both genders do stupid things. However there is a crucial difference between men and women. When a man goes after a slut, he just want's to fuck her and that's it. I've never met a guy in my life who thought that the slut will change or be a better person for him. On the other hand many women who tend to go after those men believe that they can also have a relationship with them, that they can change them or make them to be different for them. Of course that's delusional but it answers your question.

but some women find it exciting. that's their business.
as of late I've been dealing with one of these types. My immediate response is just to ignore them. I am often confused by some women myself.
