Is it true that girls prefer dad bodies over abs?

Men don't get it, because men are visual in stimulation. But women, well they are attracted to other things.

Abs are HOT, but what goes along with the abs? A narcissistic guy? A man who won't hang out with you after work because he's at the gym for hours? And if he does come to your place he won't share a pizza! No carbs for him!!! Or alcohol.

And what woman wants to be with a guy who's hotter then they are? I'm a solid 9. But i carry a little belly weight at 40. I could see a guy with perfect abs constantly trying to convince me to step it up and me just wanting to eat takeout and watch tv.

So its not that i dont like abs, i just doubt I'd get along well with a guy who had them.

But i dont like lazy guys either. There are actually a lot of men who represent a happy medium.

Abs anyday over dad bod. I dont like hair to a guys chest or stomach lol and abs well their abs who wouldn't like them. Ones that are over the top or you can tell are steroid abs and muscles then no, but if the are a little defined and there its good. Doesn't need to have abs either just dont be a dad bod. Lol. by the way those abs look drawn on. Lol

Guys with dad bods usually have better personalities, more likely to be down to demolish your favorite foods with you, and less likely to put unfair expectations on you or your body. This is a generalization but it's my personal experience

honestly, i would go for the dad bod. personality is so much more important anyways, my last boyfriend had more of a dad bod but he gave the BEST hugs. it was awesome ahah. he wasn't fat, just didn't have a six pack.

I like a toned guy, but I also want to rest my head on something comfy, girls have this idea in their head that they're rock solid, thats only if they're tensing or have overdone it, my boyfriend works out but its soft unless he's tensing.

Depends on the guy. I find a guy even physically insanely attractive if he has a great personality and isn't obsessed with his body. And who says dads can't have abs?

Dad body. I like a guy who's comfortable rather than toned. I like to lay my head on their stomach, and I would prefer it didn't feel like I was laying on rocks.

It really depends on the girl. Some girls like guys who are skinnier with abs, or maybe bigger with abs, or some girls might like guys with dad bods. I personally like guys who are bigger and not necessarily defined but strong underneath the flab (so maybe a dad bod?) Also, as most people would (hopefully) agree, personality trumps all.
