I have a friend who fits size S/M. She's perfectly healthy and fit but she constantly complains about being fat and ugly. I quote her, "I'm so ugly and fat, gosh. I feel so fat and ugly. I'm not going to eat that because I'm so fat."
I am overweight too and am trying to lose weight atm, but I don't complain about being fat because I'm working out... I fit size X-XL. I haven't been overweight all my life and struggled from depression which made me gain a lot of weight. It makes me feel fugly when she says that to me.
We have a friend who suffers from obesity so I find it rude that she complains around people who are diabetic and obesed.
Why do some skinny girls complain they are fat when they aren't? Did my friend say it so we can stroke her ego?

Some people think they’re unattractive and some people are just saying that for attention... which attention originates from insecurity about their attractiveness so it’s the same thing.. 😂.
Don’t get me wrong, I take no sides but I can understand why.
I remember when I got extremely skinny and I still felt fat and repulsive but other people were saying otherwise. It’s sometimes just a mindset some people have
Most people have a minor self image issue where they see themselves as slightly less unattractive, because we see our personal flaws everyday. Seeing your own "flaws" everyday tends to magnify the issue to the point you think you're ugly, when in reality you aren't.
Because us being skinny doesn't mean we love our bodies. We have body image issues as well. Not saying it's right but it might be the reason why. She may also have a mental illness that's distorting what her body image looks like to her.
