I am extremely outgoing and I fell in love with a guy who was shy and never talked much, yes if you don't look for the obvious signs then you can miss them.

- some girls are really outgoing until you go up to her and talk to her, then miraculously shell get shy
- she'll stare at you, then when you look at her shell scowl at you then look away
