Being a shy girl myself, I know:
She acts differently towards her friends or you when your about (She appears more quiet).
She can't look you in the eyes properly, ends up looking somewhere else.
Seems a little aloof when all it is, is being quiet.
Glances at you sometimes.
Looks at you from the corner of the eye.
You have to go up to her and start talking to her, make it easy though. If it doesn't work, don't give up! She probably didn't know how to react to you talking to her. Keep trying is what I'd say because I think a guy has given up on me:(
She’s either louder or quieter with you, might blush, stammer, speak softly and sneak glances at you.
It would be if she stares at you a lot, tries to be close to you, always try to get your attention by passing by you a lot, or she smiles at you when she looks at you.
