Signs a shy girl likes you?

Alright there is this girl that I like a lot. I think she shy because she's always shy around me. I think she may like me back but I can't tell. I've caught her staring at me a couple of times but its hard to catch her. I try not to stare at her and try not to show signs I like her because I don't want to come off as a creep to her. Sometimes when I walk paste her she will quickly dart her down and away from me even when iam not looking at her. She is very quiet around me and doesn't respond to me often. She did one time try very hard to hold my hand and I let her. We held hands for about 2 or 3 minutes. She has flirted with me but is rare. All her friends glance and stare at me all the time. I don't know if this is a good or bad thing. There might be more but I can't remember right now. So what do you think does like me? Also what are more signs a shy girl will show if she likes you?

It was once in an awkward situation where are teacher assigned us groups and we had to hold hands to prove an experiment so she chose me and one of her friends over everyone else in the class.

Sounds like she's interested if she went out of her way to hold your hand. And if her friends are looking at you, then it means she's talking about you to them. Does she smile or laugh often at things you say/do? Does it look like she tries to cover her laughs/smiles?

I think you should definitely start to act a little more forward towards her, and see how she responds.
