I am not ugly, but I am also not the prettiest girl in the world, but I'm still pretty. Sometimes I get a little nervous that guys won't flirt back with me if they don't think I'm pretty. Guys?

That's not so black and white. Someone like myself wouldn't flirt with anyone they didn't find attractive. In fact if the girl didn't get the picture I'd get uncomfortable and ultimately annoyed. Now there are other guys that love attention. They won't care that they aren't attracted to you they just love the attention. These types could be straight and would let a gay guy flirt with them or vice versa. It's all about basking in the attention and compliments. This type will let you down pretty hard and may even be down right mean about it if you work up the courage to ask for a date. A good way to pick this type out is that there are very few compliments coming your way or none at all.

So in short will a guy flirt with someone he finds ugly? Sure, some will. But it won't lead to anything.

Guys will flirt with girls they are attracted to. I hate to take such a diplomatic approach to this, but beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I've seen pretty girls stay single while lesser attractive ones always seem to have guys around them.

One common characteristic these lesser attractive girls have is confidence. They are not worried in the slightest about their looks and express themselves vividly and without humility. i don't take girl whom I'm not attracted . I've only dated the top niche looking girls. the ugly once said I was ugly half the time. that should tell you something ;)
