My ex boyfriend just did the same thing a couple nights ago, the next day he texted me and apoligized and when I asked him if he remember what he told me he said yeah pretty much all of it and his friends were drunk too telling me everything about how this boy feels about me. Fact is he's not taking it back like say "I was drunk, I'm sorry, please disregard what I said" yet he doesn't say anything besides "it's not what you think" I'm not sure what he's trying to pull..but if you want my opinion I feel he's not over you because alcohol does bring out your emotional feelings, how you really feel because it's a depressant.
From my experiences, nothing but truth has come out of guys when they're drunk. You learn a lot. I think it's safe to say he was being honest.

This is a classic move, its called Drunk Dialing. I'm sure he does miss you, and he is obviously thinking about you a lot if that's what his mind reverts to when he's been drinking. Alcohol has a way of magnifying whatever may be bothering you, I mean, it is a depressant. As for his actions, this is a NORMAL reaction to losing something important to you. People tend to get desperate and try very hard to get that back which has been lost. Many times people tend to feel that they "love" the person who left more than before, when really what they are feeling is just being hurt. my two cents
