Parties are fun. That explains that part. They're even more fun when you get invited to the exclusive parties with fun people, and have and endless supply of free drinks. The drunkenness part is just that some people don't know how to drink responsibly. That doesn't correlate to attractiveness though. I think that the reason that you probably see it more often with attractive people is that in some cultures, good looks equate to popularity, which equates to party invitations. Those parties often have an open bar.

That's not really true but I see were you're coming from it's probably the fact they come off as fun, outgoing and confident that makes them seem attractive. But just look a women like Lindsay Lohan the party life soon catches up with them and they will age badly because of the late nights, drugs and excessive drinking
