Do starving a girl of attention really work?

So my dream girl and i had a few fights and she hasn't talked to me in months, she followed me on instagram a month or so ago and now everytime i post a new picture she likes and comments on it but she won't talk to me, the only advice I've gotten is to move on OR to to try ignoring/not talking to her for a month or two, thing is she just turned 21 and just got her own place so it kills me to think about what she's going to be doing and waiting will be hard, is it possibly that she'll miss me or is it more likely that after all this time she's just using me for attention?

girls don't want too much attention and they don't want being ignored.

if you give her too much attention then she'll find it creepy and a turn off

ignore her and she says you are no interested

either way you lose... unless you have money

Its a very long story, but I've been trying to talk to her for months, I've tried to be very open and nice with her and she's not responding to anything, she either doesn't wanna talk or she's too afraid to or something, so space seems to be my only option

Waiting is dumb. You should be pursuing other women. If she wants it, she'll come around. If not, you'll be having new adventures with some other chick.
