Why do girls change their hair color?

Question

I am intresting in psychology behind it, if that can tell me more about what is going inside that girl head. She was bruntette and changed her hair to blonde at the end of graduating high school.

Many women express themselves via their hair. You could say that many women have a deep, personal relationship between hair and self-esteem. You could also say that it's part of their identity. Lady Godiva anyone?

Hair and beauty is a multi-billion dollar industry - and someone would even say that it is an industry that preys on women's insecurities. I read in an article once that posited that, if you could take the number of hours a woman spends shampooing and conditioning and styling her hair and give a job-market-appropriate dollar value to each hour, PLUS the money spent on coloring, dye jobs, haircuts, treatments, curling, etc. the average woman would easily be spending at least $50,000 on their hair in their lifetime.

So I know very little about psychology but it's probably about acceptance. She feels like guys she likes, like girls with blonde hair. Or she feels like she will have more succes with blonde hair.

New year new her bc she wants too! Why are you so concerned with others honey you need to focused on you. She probably likes it and isn’t concerned how others feel bc they don’t matter. You should ask her yourself if she looked better with brown hair you should tell her and see maybe what she would do. If not then we don’t know bc we aren’t her so really your question pointless.

For most girls, their personalities and emotions will shine through their hair. But you know, that isn’t going to be the case ALL of the time. Maybe something in that lady changed or maybe she just felt like doing something different.
