I am a boy trying to win over a shy girl, or I think she is. PLEASE HELP ME SOMEONE!

Okay so this girl at school. We see each other at school like everyday. But we don't really talk but smile to each other in person. One time I commented on one of her statuses and then she liked my comment and tried to continue the conversation with me. Then she asked me if I had a cell and I said no. She said WHY. I said I only get a cell phone when I get good grades. She told me to hurry up and get good grades so me and her can text ! And when she chats on facebook she uses a crap load of emoticons. And she keeps on going on and on about me and her texting when I get good grades. So, we are on facebook talking. I told her that we can talk to each other at school and she said okay we should. But when I get to school I see her and she only smiles at me and kinda says hi to me but not really and her locker is right behind mine too. Sometimes I say hi to her but she either ignores me or doesn't hear me cuss she doesn't say anything :(. So I don't know if she is shy or something else. I sometimes catch her looking at me at lunch then she turns away quickly. CAN SOMEONE HELP ME PLEASE I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DO ! PLEASE HELP !

Try harder; it might seem weird to you, but put yourself out there. Be confident! And try to plan what you're going to say, like, "Hey! How's your day going!? Did you hear about _____?"

If you make it weird, she's going to feel weird.

If she makes it weird, don't change, be confident!

And I'm pretty sure she likes you back, so don't worry, go for it, and be yourself!

This girl is 100%into you man just go to her and talk to her. She's probably shy and wants you to take the initiative as a man so I say go talk to her. She's already given signs tht she's interested in you when she flirted with you about getting good grades s oyou two can chat on the phone so go ahead and get to know her and then ask her out on a date.

she's definately just shy... I say walk up to HER and start the conversation, that way she doesn't have to. I know that's one of my biggest fears with guys and it always helps when a guy makes the first move. If you're shy too, it'll never work out...
