So, the girl that I like works at this restaurant that I go to with my friend. When we first went there, she was a hostess, and she was very warm and sweet in our first interaction. I immediately felt attraction towards her, and once we were seated, she kept on walking around my table while I was eating and I kept on looking at her. I visited a few more times with my daughter and only had little interactions since she was just a hostess. But every time she sees me, she smiles quickly and goes back to work.
This last time I went, while I was waiting to be seated, my friend noticed that when she saw me, she smiled and looked away when I looked towards her. She was working as a server’s assistant and I asked the new hostess girls if the girl I like could be my server, they both paused, looked at each other and smiled and told me her name and told me that she would be sent to help my table out.
Our server, another girl, kept on smiling and wanting to giggle when she was around my table and I could tell everyone in the restaurant knows I like this girl. The girl I like brought my food out, and I was very happy to see her. I was courteous and friendly with her. I only interacted with her that one time because the restaurant was very busy, but the server girl kept on smiling. My friend asked the server about the color of my crush’s shirt and I said “OMG don’t embarrass me”. I think that at this point, it was clearly obvious that I like her.
I went to pick up a to-go order today, and all the girls at the restaurant there gave me a little smile when they saw me and I barely saw my crush because she was in the back. This girl is very sweet and I can tell she’s very shy. I really hope that I can get to know her better. I feel nervous and shy around her. I’ve never felt like this around any girl. I feel that this girl is very special and worth my time and effort. Good things take time.
I’ve been out of the dating game for a while.
