I used to think it was all a fallacy, until the last three cycles. Yesterday I cried while watching Netflix (it wasn’t even sad), then later I was texting my friend and we were talking about our looks, I said “my nose is huge” she argued with me and WHOLE tears started rolling down my face. It was so weird and not me at all !
I wanna know HOW it happens. I thought I was the type that could stab a man and be ok but maybe not 🤣😂

yes, just yesterday i started crying on public transportation for no fucking reason. someone glanced at me pityingly and told me to be strong. this morning i started shouting like a maniac because i did not get a scholarship i applied to and i slammed my bathroom door three times, breaking a piece of wall in the process. i guess i am fed up with life's bullshit, and my period makes me hyper sensitive

I do get emotional yes, for example, normally when I'm watching something sad on the television I'll think "aww that's sad" but when I'm watching something sad and I'm menstruating I'll just cry- even a sad thought will make me cry.

I'm also a little short tempered when I'm menstruating xD

I used to think that too. Until the same happened to me. I'd be so irritable and sensitive. My siblings are watching kung fu panda 2, and I pass by them and stop to watch for a bit. I start tearing up thinking about how the panda was able to overcome so much adversity and in the end be able to defeat the peacock guy. Then I started laughing after realizing that I actually cried to that. PMS...

I get that. One time I went to Subway and asked for American cheese on my sandwich, and before she picked up the cheese I said "oh can I actually have provolone instead", and she probably didn't hear me and put on the American, and I felt like crying and thought "SHE HATES ME". Which is ridiculous. Thanks hormones.

I just think some girls produce more tears when they're on your period that's what i'm thinking. I know how full tear sacks feel. I don't know but sometimes happens to me when i try to relax and sleep. I tear up until I fall a sleep not even thinking about something sad hehe but just think about it to let it out.
