Girls, why do some of you find self-proclaimed 'Instagram models' intimidating?

I'm not intimidated by them because I don't see them.
They set unrealistic body standards due to the cosmetic procedures, exercise resume and photo shopping.
They have mostly male followers, no wonder really average guys guys have high expectations of how women should look.
Eventually these girls will age and they'll lose a lot of their followers because their body and their looks are all they've got going for them.
I do follow the lady that did my bidouir shoot. They are tasteful, sexy and feature women of all shapes, all ages and life experiences. From a woman who struggled with her post baby body and stretch marks to a woman who has had to come to terms with being left with scars by her surgeon after needing a double mastectomy.
These are real women I see these women.
I don't because quite a few of them look utterly gross with all the plastic surgery, lip fillers, cheek fillers, huge boobs, fake asses and the amount of makeup and fake hair is enough to make me heave.
Clearly, they feel it gives them value which is even more dangerous because we are potentially encouraging a new generation of people who will mostly learn that image is more important than content and that being "popular" on SM is more important than succeeding through good old honest hard work.
👍 totally. How anyone in the real world could think they are a "standard" they need to aspire to is beyond me. It's all grown out of reality TV shows where people see these "stars" being plastered in makeup, altering their bodies with surgery and meeting other "stars" and gaining millions of followers because of it. Its literally become a lifestyle that is being promoted as ideal.
Yeah I recently saw a snapchat public story in which Instagram models reply in a video to some of their DMs. Honestly 2 out of 10 are actually attractive on average. I see these new videos like once a week on snapchat, The uglier they were, the snobbier and bitchier their personality lol. It was pretty amusing to watch. Here’s one of them.
That is what we know as a "butterface" in the scientific community.

Instagram models are seen as the epitome of attractiveness in today's world, and every girl wants to be seen as attractive. And with the rise of the internet, we see tons of girls who fit this bill, and some girls are afraid that no guy would choose them over an IG model (because guys voice their opinion about the importance for good looks in women all the time and some even put down women they consider ugly and respect them less too). I'm personally not intimidated by them, but I can see and symphatise with the girls who are.
I think it's petty. A desperate attempt to look for attention and confirmation in all the wrong places.
P. s. the photo you have chosen is anything but attractive or beautiful.
I'm not a girl, but I will revive this post by giving my 2 cents:
Instagram models just mastered their Catfish skills. Their followers are just taking their bait! 😂
Boys are desiring a Catfish and girls with low self-esteem are envying the "success" of these obvious fakes!
Just human nature, people feel intimidated by those who they think are better than them, especially if they're being compared or they do it by themselves, for some it's the looks for others it's the status etc., and instagram happens to be the place , which is trending now.
Who cares about proportion? We've been brainwashed that the bigger, the better.
Yeah, guys said "everyone is pretty and unique". But one look at their social medias, you'll see what they all have in common.
The girl in the pic is horrendous. I'd never ever be attracted to someone who looks like they should be a stand in for mannequins.
Well some restrain is necessary. No reason to be uncouth!
1. The girl in the pic is far from pretty
2. If one would not know better, plenty of women on Instagram can literally bend reality with the gravitational pull from their asses. Except obviously a lot is just fake and Photoshop. It's silly
She looks a bit like the female version of Tekashi 6ix9ine, which is also an interesting male specimen, if you don't know him (only based on face).
No idea. I don't think they are intimidating. I see them as those trying to make it in life in their own way. Although not the way I would see myself doing.
It’s that fact that silly boys fall for the tricks 🙄. The idea that guys are looking and going wow wish my missus looked like that.
I'm assuming because most guys lust over these girls making other girls feel less?
I don't use social media but these are just my thoughts
They're comparing their real body to something that was Photoshopped, so it's a hard standard to live up to.
I dont think they are scary but its crazy. To me that. People can do that
I laugh at them. They all want their 5 minutes of fame. They all want to be celebrities like that YouTuber Zoe.
Most of them are nothing but ass and tits. Not much else to offer! 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
The girl in that photo is nowhere near the typical Instagram model. Can’t say I’m intimidated by them though- I don’t have Instagram.
Great question because I couldn't care less lmfao
Everyone can do whatever they want to
swole is an Instagram model
@ChefCurry you're beautiful.. on the outside but hideous inside
@ChefCurry when are we going to fuck again?
I see them as ads and not reality.
Intimidating? How can I be intimidated by someone that doesn't care if I exist or not.
I don’t they are just whores I laugh at whores
Quite the opposite, barely intimidating at all.
Oh wait, this question was for girls? I kind of skipped ahead. I'll get me coat.
