Why do girls feel me when they sit next to me?

whenever I’m on a train girls sit next to me, either our legs touch or they arch their back into my arm and don’t move or we have our arms touching each other’s when side by side.

I just try not to move and sometimes I look at them for a second but they don’t look at me. A few times I’ve felt we’ve gotten a bit closer as I can really feel how warm they are and they still don’t move and if I move they flinch so I put myself back where I was.
I’m afraid of sexual harassment so I try to ignore it but a few times I’ve had girls sitting in front of me open their legs up more when they have a skirt on and also sit cross legged with their skirt hoisted up a bit too much than they should and usually this is when no one else is around. Is this flirting?

Should I say something and if yes what?

Just say 'hey' and compliment her on an item of clothing she is waring or something. But not her handbag or she'll think you are gay xD

All those 'touches' can mean something different. If she is sitting with her back arched, facing away from you for example (like looking away from you) she is saying she isn't interested in talking to you. Her arms and legs touching you because you are sitting next to each other don't necessarily mean anything. Crossed arms can mean 'stay out of my space' too. Anyway, basically nothing you have said is them flirting.

If she starts talking to you, she might be flirting. If she touches your hand or shoulder whilst talking to you she might be flirting. If she flashes you her knickers... probably flirting. Otherwise, air on the side of caution haha

😂 thanks for that it helps a lot. I think the brushing against me just happens with Young women. I’ve had a guys girlfriend do it aswell. Don’t ask me about aeroplanes it’s even worse lol the only women who give me space are much older. Men also give me space. It’s literally the prolonged feeling of warmth they like from me 😑 cheap

see why im afraid of sexual harassment, i think the reason im getting all this attention is because i try to ignore women in public and they see it as some kind of game to win my attention. I've had similar problems in the gym, several girls all up in my skin.

i am not, i was an introvert and had anxiety, i am normally not very observant of my surroundings and end up leaving situations not understanding what just happened. I was told by an older man that i was being pursued by a bunnyboiler and because i ignored her at the gym all the other girls were amazed and saw me as a reliable guy so were aggressively in my face. One even stood infront of my girl 'friend' and i kept calm not knowing whats going on. Its just how i am, im not approachable and have never asked a girl out.

hmm yeah it does appear this way, I've also had a girl sit next to the other window seat, release her hair and brush it towards me and i was so overwhelmed by her pheromones i couldnt sit still and was feeling like a ticking timebomb. I've had pics taken of me aswell and they smile because i can't do anything except look offended.

mate they are sitting in seats next to me when the whole carriage is available. Even when im on the platform i tried to avoid the crowd of people along it so i stand next to a railing and a woman just came down the stairs stood right next to me when there's the whole platform! Then when i came down the stairs 2 girls just looked right at me and i walked away down the platform and when i boarded the train those two sat next to me. On top of that when im waiting at the doors to board trains i sometimes turn to find a girl just staring into my eyes. Im not being paranoid, i dont mind it but im trying to not be overwhelmed by it and just ask how to interact.
