I found this subreddit that was full of hate. Women don't want any sons. They want only daughters. Do you think they should abort if the child's gender isn't of their preference? And if yes, then do you think women should be allowed to abort a girl child as well if they didn't want a daughter.
I remember reading somewhere, "women may be attracted to men biologically, they may love them and care about them but women can never admire and cherish men the same way men cherish other men and women. Women can never do what men on Titanic did. Its just not in their biology" how true do you think this is.

And it's not about her choice to her body. She's not aborting because she doesn't want to be pregnant. Its her choice to a particular gender. She doesn't want to be pregnant with a boy because she hates men. It doesn't take more than half a mind to objectively condemn this. I feel sorry for where the world is heading.

I dont believe that saying women can't cherish others as much as men is true, I believe it is completely false. In fact, when it comes to women, we are generally able to become more emotionally attached to people, especially the man we give ourselves to (in my case, that's my husband) and our children. Besides, I dont think abortion is okay in any instance. If rape is the case, I believe that they should either allow the girl to have a c section or give her all the epidural and if she wants, she can give the baby up for adoption, there are lots of couples who want a baby and can't have one. But saying you dont want a baby because it's too hard to raise or whatever, I literally know a woman with seven children, and her husband left them. She now goes to church with me, her children are doing good, and she remarried. If she can do it with seven children, other women can do it with one child. i think that being selfless has nothing to do with gender, but generally women feel more empathy. While men are more action oriented in general. Now there are women who are pretty apathetic and men who are sweeter than gummy bears dipped in honey, but I know that saying women are biologically incapable of doing things to save others lives is ridiculous. Are all men sexual predators? Of course not! Are all women selfish? Of course not! It all depends on the person, honey! Thanks for your time!

No. I never said women can't love or care or be attached to men. Cherishing or admiring or genuinely respecting someone is a different thing than loving them. A woman can't develop a relationship that guys in a football team or in an army squadron have with each other. Thanks anyways for your comment, it made me feel good and hopeful.
Thanks dear, but women can form those same bonds. Women can cherish people, not all women do, but lots of women do. Women can respect others and admire people as well. Women also join the army, join sororities, join soccer teams, softball teams, and other teams where they have to work as a group. These feelings and actions aren't isolated to one gender or the other, gender does not determine if a person can cherish people or not, that is determined by other factors. Just because girls dont play football and form relationships through such a way doesn't mean we can't form relationships with members on other sports teams and in other groups dear. I think they should be allowed to abort it. I don’t agree with the decision, but I think they should be allowed to have control over their body. Their body their choice. The main reason that I think they should be allowed to abort the child is because I’m afraid of how they would the treat the child when if and when it’s born. That woman clearly doesn’t want a son. If she had to give birth to it and raise it she would probably neglect it or abuse it. I would rather the child not be born at all rather than have to live a life of neglect and abuse and being unwanted and unloved.

Morally it's kind of fucked up. Of course feminist women are here all like "her body her choice", but she's not aborting because she didn't plan to get pregnant, she's aborting because it's a boy. Because she has these retarded ideas about gender, boys and masculinity.
At the same time you hear of these nutcase radical feminists parents with these ideas who force this gender neutral bollocks aggressively onto their sons, and they completely fuck them up. If they don't try to convince them to be trannies and put them on hormone blockers which many of them try to do do, their sons grow up with all kinds of mental issues as a result of their obsession with this stuff. Boys with mothers like these never stand a chance and are probably better off not being born. They probably raise their daughters to be absolute weirdos too to be fair.
If abortions are going to be allowed anyway, then I guess sex-selective abortions are just part of that. I am pro-life and don't think that gender is a good reason, if we accept that there are some good reasons for abortion, to abort a child. Also, how will they know it's a boy? I thought gender was a social construct.
These women is better off without children for the children sake. Raising toxic children in your own toxic image is not a good idea. Don't add another into the cycle if you can't see the positive in life. Something is wrong if you can't see that children isn't bad just because of their gender, and they won't repeat whatever you experience from that gender if you raise them correctly.
I disagree with abortion as birth control, or sex control in this case. And I find it a travesty that men have no say in what happens to their child, but they are responsible for paying for their children for at least 18 years.
This is why the anti-feminist movement is growing. I am unable to understand how or why someone can think like this. Would they drown their child after birth? I think this does more harm than good to further women's rights as well, and it's horrible.
I understand why she’s afraid to have a son because she doesn’t want him to succumb to the toxic mindset that society enforces upon men lest they are labeled gay or effeminate. She shouldn’t hate all men though: plenty are not that way and have risen above it (kudos to those men!!).
Anyway, she should be allowed to abort before the third trimester. Her body, her choice. I don’t agree with the reason (she could educate her son in order for him not to grow up with toxic masculinity) but it is her choice and no one should take it from her.

Again, I don’t agree with those comments. But her body, her choice. I wish they would learn that not every male will become such a way (similar to the people aborting because they don’t want a female) but if the woman doesn’t want it for whatever reason (girl or boy), her choice.
On one hand I think that what you're saying here is fucked up, because she's not even aborting because she doesn't want to be pregnant (her body) but because it's a boy and she hates masculinity, which is fucking retarded. One the other hand, I'd feel sorry for any boy raised by a woman with this mentality, he'd live a completely fucked up life most likely.
@englisc There are women who purposely don’t use protection because they don’t like it and have abortions if they get pregnant. The reason is horrible but no one should force her to go through the pregnancy at all. If she doesn’t want it for whatever reason, it is her body and right to choose to abort. I don't think it's immoral and having a gender preference was never seen as bad thing. how many people do you know who said "I hope it's a girl/boy"? In her particular case she doesn't seem to be in conditions of having a baby boy but she seems to love her girl. I don't think it's right to abort a developing baby just because it's a boy but I see no problem with choosing a gender through iv insemination she must have gone through something bad to resent men like she does and I don't think it would be good to expose a boy to that
