Boyfriend is on business trip and I barely hear from him?

He is gone for two weeks in NYC. I've been leaving him alone because I know he's busy, however, I know he's not THAT busy. He'll send me a text or two when he's at work in the morning but at night there is only silence.

I don't expect a call every evening or even a long call but a check in every few nights would be nice...

I called him only once this whole time and he didn't pick up and didn't call me back.

Should I be worried about what he's doing?

Don't you worry at all! Use this time to have a break from each other. You will miss each other a lot and it will be amazing to see your partner again when he comes back!

My boyfriend was away for 2 whole weeks, I worried sick! I kept thinking "what if this", "what if that" etc. Worried so much. Or I'd be extremely calm and then very worried again. I knew he couldve sent me a text message but I wasn't receiving any! Until one day I got a very nice message from him. By the second week everything was so much better because I made myself stop worrying and I actually ENJOYED the time separated from him, which also made me miss him so much!

The point of me telling you all this is DON'T WORRY! He is probably thinking about you as much as you think about him! Just don't forget that he is only a guy and expresses his feelings very differently to women.

Just be patient and wait. Or don't even wait! Enjoy all this time just for yourself :)

Because having a break and actually missing each other is good for the relationship.

I'm sorry but I would be worried. Of course it all depends on the specifics of your relationship but I definitely would find it bizarre not to hear from my bf.

Should you be worried that your man will cheat? Not unless you have been treating him right. If he is completely satisfied in the relationship, you have no worries. But...

if you are controlling, manipulative, methodical, nagging, etc. then perhaps he doesn't want to be bothered.

Besides, being away from your partner is a good and a healthy break for any relationship.
