I have seen her looking at me many times, we have only talked once and that time she gave me pretty good signals, she has smiled at me in a flirty way, but always when I approach her, she is always blowing me off (aka ignoring me or walks away from me) what is going on?.

It's a nervous reaction more times than not.

I've had the same bullcrap happen to me before and it's annoying. Try working with a girl that you do like in some way, but every time you try finishing a convo up, she walks away. It's disrespectful to me and not worth my time. After ignoring her for so long she mentions my name and talks about me to someone else in passing.

Change the gender around - girl likes a guy, but every time girl tries to approach him, he gets nervous and walks away.

So you want advice? You got 2 options I can think of:

1) Be a controlling, demanding jerk. Say her name and tell her to come back to you because you want to talk. If you want this to go somewhere, sometimes you just have to be more demanding and practically tug her hair. If she comes back, then good. She can be tamed and force her to break out of her shy shell to get to know you a bit more. If she does NOT respond to you, then she's probably way too nervous about it and would rather run away. She loses.

2) You can play the same game by ignoring her and being shy. No eye contact, no smiling at her. Just look away in disinterest. She may pick up on this and believe she's disqualified from your approval, or she'll try to get your attention back. It's her move to make. Most likely, she won't make one since she doesn't have enough confidence to do so. Perhaps she'll learn a lesson and change up her personality a bit.

girls will blow a guy off who they think is really hot. they get nervous also, and are afraid they will say something stupid and f*** it up.

if she isn't blowing you off verbally, and she keeps sending signals, I would keep talking to her.

if she doesn't like you, then she wouldn't be sending signals.

She could be trying to play hard to get, or she's actually alittle afraid to be near you...

My thoughts are that you have read her behavior as negative and I think you're judgment of the situation is the most accurate because you know your world and I can only go by what details you tell here. I would see if you could try breaking the ice, and saying something like "Hey, we spoke a while back and I've notice you look at me a few times. My name is..." and wherever you want to go from there is all fair game. I say give it a shot, and if she turns out to be a snoot. then you know. I think you are in the unknown state and you need to assert yourself. Noone walks away from you mister ^_^.

This seems like something I would do.. If I liked someone, I'm never 100% sure. But the worst thing I can think of if the person I like thinking I like them, stupid right! So I would act the opposite- but I'm not shy or anything .. when the person approaches it gets real and that's not cool. Also I would want the person to chase me and stuff- so if you keep trying and she's sure you don't think she likes you, even if you know she does, you'll get her- if you actually care enough to try!

She is more than likely a bit shy. For us girls, its really hard to keep your emotions in check when the guy you like is approaching or if you have to speak to him. I think she doesn't know whether or not you like her and she doesn't want to make a fool of herself just in case you don't like her. I suggest you ask her out the next time you see her. Make sure she knows you would like to speak with her and let her know how you feel. Good luck.

I'm a shy girl myself and this is classic "I like him and he makes me nervous" behavior. Also, maybe she's a classy lady and she doesn't throw herself at every guy that likes her, know what I mean...like, she smiles and stuff but isn't necessarily going to do much more than that. Being shy, I may smile at a guy I like and deep down I want him to talk to me but when he actually does I "chicken out" lol last minute and because he makes me nervous or overwhelms me, I also will maybe walk away or not talk much...I try not to be rude about it though lol I slowly walk off. If she's just blatantly storming off and being rude than maybe she's just a meany : /

She seems interested if she is showing you signals and smiling at you in a flirty way. I had a girl do the exact thing but instead of me coming up to her, she would come to me and say hi and smile then walk away. She did show me signals like grabbing my hand and holding it for a few seconds before letting go even looked for me and screamed my name in public. I say the girl is shy and doesn't know what to do when you approach her, she's afraid of making a move and playing hard to get.

She is probably a shy girl. I am one myself and I realize that I might have pushed a guy that I il like a lot away because of my shyness. A lot of the times shy girls do not have a lot of experience in the relationship area. But it always helps for a guy to be more of the initiator. =)
