Sure I would do it and rather today than tomorrow.

The reason is that the earth needs a break from humanity and only by wiping it out totally can it regenerate and let nature take over the way it was intended in the first place.

Sure, a large part of the fauna and flora would be destroyed as well but without the interference of humans, it would quickly regenerate again and proliferate. I guess that in 20,000 years, the earth would not have any memories of that annihilating atomic blast.

In order to be efficient, 4 bombs need to be places strategically, one in Central America to wipe out the Americas, one in Ukraine to do its business in Europe and up to the Ural mountains, one in Indonesia Mongolia to take care of North East Asia and one in Borneo for Oceania and South East Asia/India.

Seeking refuge in bunkers will not serve anything if the planet is contaminated and highly radioactive for 10,000+ years.
