What would you do if nuclear weapons started flying in the air?

So you wake up to nuclear weapons looking to blow up cities etc... what is the first thing you do? Sit and watch all the sjw, leftists woke progressives paint rainbow flags on city streets? Or raid the local drug store? What would you do?

I dont care i live out in the country and am ready for this stuff. I work at a nuclear station so I know more than the typical people.

I do have a question for you... will nuclear stations and facilities will be targeted first so they explode in site?
and therefore struck eventually due to the barrage of targeting?

or, will these facilities be the last ones to be attacked due to them being the most protected so the enemy won't bother to target them rather go for less protected areas?

and I mean both nuclear stations that are meant to create energy as well as nuclear facilities that store/or launch nuclear weaponry?

Nuclear stations are not built to take nuclear bombs. Sure reactor building is safe but if your accessories to keep the facility safe are destroyed its game over. Aka Fukushima

I am quite sure there are a few "safety blankets" planned all across nuclear countries so... my question is would those be over nuclear reactors? or, over nuclear weaponry storage, both... which ones take priority?

The only places that are designed to withstand a nuclear blast are Cheyenne Mountain where NORAD is, or nuclear missile launch sites. You’ve got to be deep within the earth to survive the blast.

I worked at a nuclear missile site in the military. Most above ground sites anywhere near a blast would be blown away. When they tell people to seek shelter and stay away from windows and blah blah blah, really all they are doing is trying to give you some options for reducing radiation exposure—not blast/thermal damage.

Its just a psychological crutch. A placebo. Giving people the illusion that they can do SOMETHING to protect themselves. Most people would be proper fucked. Like you would really have to live out in the sticks in a very rural area far from anything of strategic military value, but also protected by mountains because the radioactive debris and dust would move with the wind. If you’re in a low lying area or a valley, again, fucksville.

Of course assuming you do somehow manage to survive you’ll be living in a hellscape. And eventually some band of raiders will come to take your things.

Destroying a nuclear power plant would have far more long term disastrous effects then any nuclear weapon because if a nuclear war occurs there will be no one to stop the core from melting down. Chernobyl is a fine example of a core melt down. Burning of radioactive material makes it air born and can spread.
