Girls don’t even know what they want. They THINK they want this really sweet guy who’s there for them, the type to choose her over his friends etc. Girls themselves think they want this, but when they do get a guy like this they get bored.
Girls want insanely attractive fuckboys (bad boys types) who don’t treat them well and make the girl cry her eyes out every few nights, making her question everything... but then shower her with sex and passion the next day - constantly keeping the girl on a rollercoaster of emotion - keeping her insanely happy one day, and depressed and crying another. This is what girls like. Quite the opposite of what they SAY they want, no?

Do girls want the OPPOSITE of what they say they want?
Yes. They want to want certain things: i. e. a nice guy who treats them well, but they also want a dominant guy who is aggressive (and kinda an asshole); so, they typically gravitate to what they really want, while continually claiming to want something different. This is why actions are a better indicator of character than words, and the words of a woman are often the most hollow. At least w/ a guy their lies are transparent.
I think either explanation is limited. There's a third road: having the heart of a good guy, but the balls of a bad boy. That contrast will give her all the emotional variety she could want. Of course some girls are just damaged and gravitate to damaged assholes no matter what. I say let 'em. They're not the ones you want mothering your future kids right?
Yeah, that's also why drama shows and soap operas are immensely popular among women compared to men - they like things which make their emotions fluctuate and be played with. And it's also why rape is the number one female fantasy.
Most of the time, those guys saying they are "gonna give women the world" are the terrible guys. And yes they want a good guy lol. The bad guys are just for fucking. Not every girl is like this, only the ones who are influenced by western culture. My mom has never dated a "fuck boy" in her life so this is just invalid
