So I have this girl in my class, and we sometimes meet eyes a couple of times during class. She’s started to stand close to me enough to make me feel uncomfortable. She stand right in front of me and very close while she looks at her phone. I’ve taken steps back thinking I’m in the way of her walking somewhere but she doesn’t move when I take a step back. I’m kind of lost on this. I talked to her today, but we were already leaving class. So it was really short.
They don't do this with guys they're not attracted to unless they're really comfortable around them because they see him as being completely harmless e. g. he's like the "gay best friend". So it's either a sign that she's interested, or she thinks you're a bum bandit. There's only one way to find out - ask her out.

No, it's only a sign that she might lack of spatial awareness or she thinks you're safe, which is NOT a sign of interest.
