Girls, What can us guys do to help comfort you during your period?

Assuming they're your partner or really close friend.

My guys friends and I have found it a complete minefield with the exception of a few typical things like ice cream, chocolate and blanket.

Some women could be rather more high strung on their periods. Cause hormones and all. So perhaps emotional support and just be a listening ear would be a important thing. It's different for every woman. But for me because I get cramps during this particular time. I can be a bit more uptight than usual. Pain killers, warm water, or heating pads should help with the pain. No sex obviously. Maybe get a chocolate for whoever has the 'world war III thing'. To help with the cravings. And lastly if you feel comfortable, (and if the girl is OKAY with it) you can try and maybe buy sanitary pads, tampons, or whatever she prefers.

Tbh it’s weird because I’m always hungry but I always feel self conscious about my weight after I eat during my period? So even I’m confused half the time about what I want. Best thing to do is just cuddle her, give her pain killers, massages, buy her cute things like a teddy or something (or something she likes) to cheer her up and just be there for her and DEFO pay attention to her don’t ignore her!!!

When it's bad I just want to lie in bed under my duvet and either sleep or watch a movie.
If it's a boyfriend, just to cuddle, keep me warm and maybe have some painkillers. And not try to have sex, that's a no go for me while I'm on my period.
Oh, and let me whine during the waves of pain.

Leave me alone. You can offer me food, but otherwise when I'm on my period, I usually just keep to myself, take warm baths, relax, and don't like being bothered until it's over.
