Weird behaviour of my crush?

My crush's behaviour is quite different in public as compared to social media. She is friendly in social media but in she acts like she don't even know me in public.

Social media and reality are two different worlds. That's the way people are behaving.
You, probably, should ask her on social media that if she wanna meet you in person and talk with you.
This is one of the ways, you can be more than creative, but everything starts in her comfort zone, where she is relaxed with you.

I had a female friend in college. She later became my crush. We used to study together. She was friendly and nice when we talked in alone but she used to ignore me when in public.
I later realized she was using me for helping her in study.

Either she is shy or she is just trying to be nice on social media. Try approaching her in real life and see what happens. If she tries to respond then maybe she's the shy type. If not, after a couple of times, you should find yourself a new crush.
