Think a person from school feels a connection with me, and I feel it with her as well, but before I ask her on a date, I want to be more sure I did read the signs correctly. Not too good at picking up clues (thanks a lot autism)

If you think autism is causing you to be unable to pick up clues of women being interested in us, then we men all have autism.

Women leave those clues and we men aren't able to pick them up unless we are specifically trained to do that. Those clues won't work on us because we are direct creatures.

But i'ma put it this way - if she asks you to prom, to dance, to eat out or to spend time together in any way, keeps in touch with you etc... then those are the signs. While it's not warranted, that it will be a date towards a relationship it can be an onset towards it.
