Why do guys stare at women when she wears shorts even when they know staring makes women uncomfortable?

So you don these clothes pivot in front of the mirror and go "yeah, I think that looks cute." You go out on the town and a guy looks at you thinking "yeah, I think that looks cute", but then he's in the wrong for some fucked up reason? wtf.

So then we it comes to guys being concern that women are supposedly made "uncomfortable", it's shit like that which makes me react with 'well it's not my problem.' You're the one who left the house *in a world where people have eyeballs.* A bunch of choices were made by you that led to that point and you offer no incentive not to look, so I don't see why they wouldn't look.

One silver lining of having deadly virus going around the world is that it paints a stark contrast and really cements that problems like 'being looked at' are dumb luxury problems that aren't real.

You say "opposite gender" as if it goes both ways. It doesn't. It rarely happens to them and they wouldn't have a problem if it did, so guys aren't whining about being ogled. This is a *you* problem, not a 'them' problem. If you just stopped and let it go then the problem would be solved, just stop being bothered by it and suddenly it's gone. That's what makes it one of those nonsense luxury problems.

They can't help it. Its actually natural and half the time they may not even realize theyre doing it. Dont get me wrong some do take the piss but some aren't deliberately trying to do anything. Theyre just looking at something attractive. Just like women do when they see an attractive person. Or all human beings do when we see something we like in general. Dress in a shop window. Pizza. They don't know. Some women like the attention, others don't. And, we are often just looking and admiring and honestly, it doesn't cross our minds that it might make you uncomfortable. If we got that attention, we'd like it (most guys), so we just assume that you do/would. ie, it's not on purpose. He's not thinking, "I'll stare and make her uncomfortable" or "she's uncomfortable, I'll keep staring" lol. Just doesn't cross our minds at all.
