What does it mean when a guy says he has lost all respect for a girl?

so there's this guy who said he really liked me 2 years ago and I found myself developing feelings for him and told him. one day me and my friend decided we would add him on MSN with a different email and talk to him and went on cam with wigs on (didn't work because he realized it was me) and was just being silly, nothing sexual though. I know it was probably stupid and childish of us to do so and I've learned my lesson now but it was meant to be a bit of fun, he didn't like it at all and he told me I pissed him off. I told him I was sorry and it wasn't meant to hurt him. but he didn't seem to want to forgive me and told me he lost all respect for me. my friends say he overreacted but I felt and still feel bad about it.

2. what does it mean when a guy says to a girl he likes that he has lost all respect for her?

3. has he actually lost respect for me because ever since that happened we gradually started talking again and he is still sweet but not as much as before, pays compliments, says it sucks that he can't stop thinking about me, but I noticed he doesn't initiate contact first as much and sometimes he ignores my texts, whereas before he would never do that and he was really sweet. do you think he still respects me?

1) Not at all. Even though you learned your lesson, no one likes to be messed with.

2) Basically, he can't trust you and can't respect anything you do or take you seriously. You hurt him and he's done with you, basically that's what it means.

3) He probably is still attracted to you, but at the same time can't trust you.

2) It means you f***ed up. He can't see you as an equal because you have proved yourself unworthy of the respect he had granted you.

It was a pretty elaborate scheme. At some point you should have realized that it was really stupid. You tried to manipulate him.

of course I thought I was stupid but you're wrong, I did not try to manipulate him we thought it would be a laugh (at the time) and I don't remember it much but my friend told me we also did it because we wanted to see whether he would flirt with us or not to see if he was the real deal.

He did overreact. It sounds like he'll get over it and if he doesn't, there a lots of guys out there. Even if he does, talk to him and get him to agree to put this behind you and never mention it again. The last thing you want is him using it as a weapon every time he gets upset.
