There seems to be confusion on the comments I've heard about useless after 30. They primarily are talking about physical attractiveness, which is subjective.
For example, a fashion editor published her comment that "50-year-old model Helena Christiansen is too old to be wearing a corset... women flaunting their bodies after child bearing years is tragic "
Although it wasn't a man who told her to write this, she is still promoting sexism in favor of a patriarch society.

Many reasons if you want an honest answer. Those are extreme statements, especially the first by the way. Very extreme. But why would she be offended by that as opposed to just brushing it off? Maybe she's not. No women are of course not worthless after 30 or even forty, but their child bearing ability goes down, which is their prime BIOLOGICAL value. Not their value as a person, but value for why a man would want to date. Sorry, I'll get to your answer soon. Also surprisingly I found that instead of older women in their 30s being more mature and easier to date, which is sometimes the case, often they just have more baggage and the younger women are both more youthful and also emotionally available. Be the exception to this rule! It will benefit the world.

Ok to answer your question: Those are extreme statements or phrased in extreme ways, but maybe she understands the guy is multi-dimensional. Maybe she sees him coming from a place of pain and hurt. There could be other reasons, more negative reasons, but you already have those in mind. I"m only coming up with positive motivations for her to do defend him because that's what you're wondering. Or not even defend him but associate with him. Maybe she finds him overall attractive on a gut level or even mental level. Don't make people one dimensional and take into account the context and whole pattern of interaction before making a call. As a man, I've found that women lose attraction or respect more instantly, suddenly even for misunderstandings, whereas men are slower to lose what they've had. It's like pouring water on a fire. For men it's different. So I love women who are slower to grow cold.

Your biology is meant for a previous time in history and has not rapidly evolved to modern society. Writing about it may get opinions in agreement or disagreement but your body is still destined to perform by the DNA program inside you. Does it make sense for women who are 20 to get pregnant because life was brutal and short and you might make it to 40? Yes if you want the humans to continue on as a species. Life is less brutal but the biology still remains the same. So if you could live two thousand years or could live 1-year lifespans as a species reproduction is going to find a balance in that time frame. So if a woman gets past age 25 she is considered a risk because the Ooga Booga clans depended on healthy children becoming healthy adults and the Ooga Booga people could not afford to care about butt hurt feelings or they would die by starvation or attack by human or animal. I think that everyone has the right to give their opinion. I may not agree with them and this topic may affect you more than others because it involves you and something you strongly disagree with. Some opinions may offend you, for the way they are put, for what they affirm, for something it shouldn't even be thought. You just have to let it go sometimes, you cannot change their minds. In this case, I do not agree with the sentences you said, it seems like they treat women as objects, to play with and to throw away when they are older or not fit anymore, it's degradating. It's pretty rare but I've seen it happen and I think it really just depends on the woman. Some may have grown up in a household with sexist views or dated men with them and absorbed it through that. Or they could be a "pick me" girl.

Where they're trying to show they're not like other women and appeal to men more so they can seem more desirable. Or they're trolling. The reasons could vary a lot.

I don't pay much attention to it though. I don't see it often. When I do I just feel bad for them if they actually do think that low of themselves.

When you actually listen to what someone is saying, as opposed to what you want to hear, things go a lot quicker.

Are women inanimate blocks of wood? No, they are people with agency, that makes choices and have an effect, both on the world and themselves.
If you really want to believe that in every situation that doesn't go your way it's a black and white case of your fault or someone else's; then you really do have a lot of growing up to do, because that is not how the world works. It takes two to get married, and hence it takes two to fuck it up. In situations there are certainly those who are more to blame than others, but everyone has personal responsibility and hence a share of the blame.
Example;
If your marriage failed because your partner started hitting you, it's reasonable to guess most of the fault lies with them, but it's unreasonable to say all of it does. A random beating after two years of marriage doesn't just fall out of the sky; something in that relationship in those two years would have changed, a relationship that you are 50% of.
And if it wasn't after two years, but pretty much right away, this means it was clear from the outset what type of a future this person was offering... if you still marriage them, then that was your fuck up.

My misses actually was in a very abusive relationship when she was much younger, and yet she does take her small share of personal responsibility for that situation, just like everything else in her life. She was desperate, didn't know any better and was having a break down after her mum died, but she still acknowledges it was a mistake, she put herself in that situation and allowed it to go on for far too long.
That is a woman that you can depend will have your back and take her share of responsibility for your relationship, which is sort of important.

Physical attractiveness are indicators of age and health. Just because most people are not consciously aware that's why they find those things attractive.

It depends. Sometimes it's just being realistic. In your women over 30 example, it's a fact that most men are attracted to younger women. Some aren't, of course, but the majority are. That is something proven and verifiable. In the example of women being used for sex, that's just realism. If you walk in to a tiger pen wearing a meat soon, you're probably going to be attacked by a tiger, whether you believe it's "right" and "fair" or not. You can control your own opinions, but not the opinions of others. I think realizing and accepting this is what makes some women defend sexist men. It's extremely rare that I even see a young woman with a much older man. And if we look at the movie stars now, the girls over 30 seem to be just as attractive as the men. but, my point being that some women will defend men on this and other sexist things.

Probably because there is some truth to this if it was better worded.
The 30s argument is true in the sense that men seek younger women on average. They are prettier to most but more importantly you have more times before settling down and having kids together. 30 is quite the limit if you want to take it slow with her because after that you can't wait to long for the sake of vertility.

And it is also ok to use a women for sex, but on the condition she consents to it just being sex. The semantics here are the word use given it makes the difference between a friends with benefits and leading someone on. I assume people defending it mean the first part.

Wrong. The statement: blacks are criminals insinuates all black are criminals. That's not true, therefore it is a racist statement meant to degrade the black race. If you were to say, 60% of blacks commit crimes, then that would not be a racist statement and it would allow civil discourse.

I have never heard a guy say that either. They probably said that they won’t vote for a woman just because she is a woman, she needs to have the skill set fit for the job.

I feel like there is either a lot of context missing in each scenario or the guys were joking and the women were able to pick up on that and could be playing along. I don't know I can’t really make any judgements from only what the guy said and not the conversation within the last five minutes before he said it.

Perhaps I should've been more detailed in my question. But I heard a man in his 50s tell a girl in her 30s something along the lines that women have no value after 30 and the younger girl was agreeing with him saying they get ugly, fat, etc.

I don’t know. I can’t really say why she is just agreeing with it. Maybe it’s true in a statistical sense that a lot of women let their bad lifestyle habits catch up to them at an age where the repercussions will affect them more but that’s also true for men. She probably agrees with it because he didn’t say that the same isn’t true for men. That’s my guess though but he is definitely being a bit hyperbolic when he says that they have no value (he is probably still talking about sexual market value in that kind of context).
