Why do men feel the urge to defend women on the internet from “misogynists”?

I have seen all over YouTube that guys will ban together to insult and shame other guys who they think are “misogynist”. The perfect example of that is a guy called Andrew Tate, many of you already might know him. I have seen many dudes make videos on him shaming him for being a “woman hater” etc. Many dudes agree in the comments and feel the need to defend women on the internet against these so called “misogynists”. Never in my life have I seen women ban together to insult or shame a misandrist on the internet and stand up for men. Why do men then go out of their way to defend women? It’s just dumb and moronic. Your thoughts?
