Why are there so many angry women on this site who attack men with phrases like "incel" or "misogynist"?

Probably because they've encountered (who they consider being) a lot of them! The internet is crazy!

But to go deeper, I guess mainly for the same reasons that people call others terms used in psychology that are soooo easy to be inaccurately given. Like "psychopath" or "narcissist."

It happens when a person wants to express the degree of how much they don't like a general issue without having to acknowledge specifics. Because when you lump people into a category, you don't have to do major mental work anymore to understand them (or feel like you do). They're significantly simplified! This is why it's so easy for mob mentality to attack people that fit a "bad" category without even knowing the person or really approaching it from an unbiased perspective to see any possible flaws on their part.

And many are looking to validate their own opinion more than they are trying to really understand things. So they want to find others with similar experiences to them. Which reinforces the desire to attack a person instead of really approaching their logic from a reasonable perspective.

Similar behavior can be seen in many controversial topics where people's emotions often make them stubbornly biased.

There are equal numbers of misogynists and misandrists on GAG. Men will say there are more misandrists and women will say there are more misogynists but it seems pretty equal to me. It's just a manifestation of the gender war we are seeing in society today.

Have you been on this site for a long time? You would understand what we mean when we call people misogynistic or incels. There’s truth to it. People don’t call other people those terms for no reason.

I've been a while and have seen it both ways. Women hating men like the question I just saw. It's full of feminists and misandrist women too.

Yes. There are misandrists and misogynists on this site. It’s not new news. However, there’s far more misogynistic men here. That’s just an observation.

Because women don't like having to put up with their bs. We get frustrated when men shame women. I'm not saying every man on here is an incel or a misogynist but there are a good number who are.

Because to be fair there are quite a few incels on here. It´s not necessarily an insult because sometimes it´s stating truth.

There are angry both sides and really you should not be branding people incel that you don't know.

I know that because I referred to myself as an incel for some time and I´ve sympathised with movements/groups like MGTOW. There are some guys on here that make comments that go in that direction. Yes there are angry people on both sides but that´s part of being online. The anonymity of the online world gives people room to let go for their distrest and anger so be it. I don´t feel insulted by them.

Because we have a lot of incels and misogynistic men on this site. I do see the occasional misandrist and they get called out too. It isn't an attack on all men who use gag
