What makes a guy boring, ladies?

Question

I read (on this site) about a girl asking about what makes girls "intimidating", so I'm inspired to ask a similar question. :)

Imo, "boring" is a buzz word that can have different definitions by different people; similar to the word "nice". So ladies...to YOU (not your friends or the dictionary lol), what makes a guy "boring" to the point of being un-date-able?

My gender-mates...feel free to chime in as well.

its hard to say because everyone has their own taste and one girl can find a 'boring' guy interesting and another girl can find an 'interesting' guy boring...

everyone likes someone different.

to me and me only, a guy is boring to me when he is very typical and trying to be someone he's not, going out partying clubbing trying to be all pimped out flirty with girls shallow arrogant cocky jerk showing off overly sexual judgmental etc...not my type of guy.

i actually met 2 guys in college they were friends, one was really hot in terms of looks the other not so much. the hot one turned out out be boring to me because he was such a flirt and partyies so much always playing video games and still acting like a kid, while the not so hot guy, had more oomph to him, he was mature, decent, worked hard in school, loved his family and culture, and was sincere and loved nature and had all these real down to earth things about him, he wasn't afraid to be himself. I loved him.

A guy who has NOTHING in common with me.
A guy who sits on the couch plays video games, watches tv, smokes weed, or drinks all day

For me at least, I find people with no interests to be really boring. I don't care what your passion is, whether it's flying planes or collecting stamps, as long as you are passionate about SOMETHING, you're not boring in my eyes. I just really can't get on with people who have like no hobbies or interests, and just hang around bars, watch tv, and hang around with their friends and do nothing else. D:

A lack of passion for life. Not being themselves or having their own opinions or ideas. Someone whose closed off to experience and learning new things. I also tend to think people are a bit dry when their conversations play it safe and they only ever scratch the surface. I more interest in the interior than the veneer so if I can't see anything beneath the facade I tend to lose interest, its not really till I start to see a person's quirks that I take real notice. A lack of humor too, I don't like when people take themselves too seriously. Now I don't mind a sexual person but if they can't talk about any other topic or if they just get stuck on one topic no matter how interesting it initially was it shows a lack of dimension.

I know you always want to ask the girls how they are and knowing their interests but mention some things about you too. Have ways to start the conversation and bring up random stuff. Don't be formal or regular. Be yourself. I wouldn't date a guy if all he did was ask me questions and not talk about himself. Or if he just say there. Bring yourself into the conversation.

Being normal and living a normal life. I want a guy who has interesting quirks that set him apart from most people and I want him to have or have lived through some sort of struggle because that to me shows he has strength to live through tough situations with out giving up or complaining.

I love laughing, so if he's doesn't have a sense of humor I'm done. I'm also play lots of video games and I love science, music, and movies I'm not picky with. If I have nothing in common with a guy usually nothing clicks because I have nothing to talk about and that makes him boring

A guy becomes boring when he cannot keep a conversation going, when he has no sense of humor, when he agrees with everything (I know you have a mind of your own use it), when a guy is constantly being annoying asking too many questions that aren't any of his business, the list goes on and on.

When he's corny if he makes a joke. I also don't like a guy who's too clingy. And! The guy who always talks about the same thing again and again. I want a guy who makes you smile and laugh. And I actually like guys who teases me or make fun of me a lot. A guy who shows he really cares about you will be the best !

When you are talking to each other if you don't continue to keep the conversation interesting it gets pretty boring. Also if you start talking about a topic the girl doesn't like or understand, like sports for example. Make sure you keep things interesting, ask a few questions, tell her about yourself, things like that.
